Andrew and Celeste wanted a ceremony at Fontanafredda to celebrate their wedding with family and friends. They wanted to share this special day with the most dear people in a beautiful place such as Italy.
Fontanafredda
Fontanafredda is a prestigious estate in Serralunga d’Alba. It offers a perfect combination between the passion for good food and a breathtaking location. Immersed in the Piedmont countryside, surrounded by vineyards and embraced by the territory of the Langhe, it’s wonderful in every season.
Celeste and Andrew are Americans and live in Florida. Celeste is a chef and so it was important for her that there was excellent cuisine and good wine! The choice of Fontanafredda was easily done, because the food is really good. The wine is produced here and the structure is perfect to host a group of foreigners.
Why not a wine tour?!
The pride and groom organized a tour of the most enchanting places of the Langhe for the days before the wedding. They wanted their guests to to discover the enogastronomical and artistic treasures of the area. On the last day they celebrated their wedding, fully understanding the value of the Langhe.
The chromatic project was inspired by the colors of nature present in the Langhe: green and white.
Near the small lake of the Fontanafredda estate there is the romantic “Bosco dei pensieri”. Here, in the shade, the bride and groom celebrated theri symbolic ceremony.
A moment of particular emotion was the arrival of the bride with the sound of violins while all the guests clapped their hands to the rythm of “Thinking Out Loud – Ed Sheeran”. Newlywed under a delicate arch decorated with a drape of fabric and flowers, they exanged their promises.
To celebrate this special moment, we organised an aperitif in front of the Orangerie, on the lakefront terrace. The guests of this unique wedding day in Langhe tasted the excellent wine and the culinary creations of Guido’s cuisine. The musical duo, already present during the ceremony, created a magic atmosphere.
Magical Atmospheres
After dinner, proposed inside the Orangerie, bride and groom cut the wedding cake inside the fascinating Ghiacciaia. Built in 1881 and used to store food and wine, with snow and ice taken from the top of the hill and the lake, this place is now a charming corner. We illuminated the darkness that characterizes this space with numerous lights. The atmosphere was romantic and exciting.
Here, surrounded by bottles of wines and immersed in the scent of the must, Celeste and Andrew received words of love from all their relatives.
The party, after so many moments of emotion and involvement, continued inside the Orangerie, with music, dances and funny photo shoots.
